Touch spells and the feats to land them in particular are very worth getting because there are a bunch of fights you can trivialize with them (couple of 70+ac characters with like 15 touch ac). your damage spells can be mostly covered by lich spells so you really only need to grab damage spells pre lvl 10ish, although standouts like hellfire ray/stormbolts/sirocco/wail of the banshee are worth grabbing. As for skeleton pet is that Bard the best choice since I've heard their int/wis is terrible so makes the cleric, magus, inquisitor not great choices.ĮDIT: Lich MP also plays differently Beta vs Full release. Mostly, I've seen take spell focus line, likely in Evocation/necromancy, then abdunant and extended spell casting, metamagic extended, etc. Should I single or multi-class to get the most out of this type of build. Also, not sure as a DPS what feats, abilities, and spells I should take or what subclass to take.
However, not sure what has best spell choices, action economy, and damage potential. I wanted to make a cold & necro based spellcaster with even a bit of poison since that seemed to fit the lich theme. I'm at a lost which class to pick as a pure spell caster when taking the lich path.
